Below are some of our favourite shots, with some of CoinaPhoto photographers letting us in on where they sourced their inspiration to capture these points in time!

Dhow Cruise
Dhow Cruise by Benny Gagoin

Why we love it: Dubai Marina is one of the most beautiful areas in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. This picture combines the futuristic architecture of the metropolitan city with the natural waters that lead out into the Arabian Gulf. You get to see the some of the best sky scrapers in Dubai along with the man-made lake right in the middle of one of the busiest areas! What more could we want?

Benny’s inspiration: I took this photo at Dubai Marina. It was a Friday afternoon when I went to Dubai from Abu Dhabi just to walk around the Marina area. It was almost sunset when I went into a bridge and was mesmerised by the view of the place so I took a shot of the amazing view!

Why we love it: PUPPY!!! Need we say more? It helps that the puppy looks adorable but the angle from which Renu has taken this shot captures this young pup in a full shot where we get to see his curious expression. The harsh background of the picture  compliments the appearance of the puppy’s soft fur quite well!

Why we love it: Aside from showing how fun playing in the snow can be, this picture truly depicts the essence of family and togetherness on a beautiful winter’s day!

Valentine’s photographic inspiration: When I took this photo I was walking with my wife, her sister and her nephew in the forest. It is one of the biggest cities in Latvia called Rezekne. There were no special techniques . It was early morning and I used sunlight as contrast light . That’s all the magic.

St Kilda Pier
St Kilda Pier by Spiros Miaris

Why we love it: This is a stunning shot of St Kilda Pier in Melbourne, Australia. The shot has an element of eery beauty which transcends into the realm beyond. Not to mention the colour contrast between the sky and ocean naturally blends into one.

Why we love it: This photo simply stands out because of the outstanding vibrancy of colours captured in one shot. The colours glow against the girl’s skin and give the photo a very artistic element!
