Christmas may be over and done with for another year but we’re still holding onto the magic for just a little bit longer. It’s time for us to reveal the winner of our Mobile Christmas photography competition. We were inundated with some amazing photography; great technique, festive lighting and stunning composition featured in almost all of our photos, making the final decision far from an easy one.

With the help of our judging panel and your votes it took some time but we’ve managed to whittle the entries down from stunning snow swept landscapes to the most beautiful Christmas lights to choose our final top three photos.

We’re delighted to announce that the winner is Tim Adrian for his beautiful holiday photo ‘Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child’ capturing the true magic of the festive season. Congratulations to Tim for winning first place and $500 worth of Amazon gift vouchers to use towards some brand new photography equipment – we can’t wait to see more of his photos.

Congratulations also need to go to our runners up; Phuc Ngo Quang for his festive lighting shot entitled ‘Flower Garlands and Coloured Lanterns,’ winning $300 Amazon gift voucher. The judges were particularly impressed the technique used in this low light shot.

Christian Heindel has been chosen as our second runner up, winning $200 worth of Amazon vouchers, for his black and white photograph ‘The Light Storm’, with his beautiful composition and use of street photography particularly catching the eye.

As always, we would have loved to crown all of our entrants as the winner, but alas, competitions don’t work like that. It has been an incredibly tough decision and our judging panel including Kavita Donkersley, Instagram aficionado, founder of She Wears Fashion and a member of our esteemed judging panel was overwhelmed she said ‘amazing finalists it was so hard to pick, so many talented people took part it’s unbelievable!’

You can check out our winning entrants photos below. Don’t worry if you missed out this time, there’ll be another competition launching in no time.
