After some rather difficult deliberation, the CoinaPhoto team and its founder Shahab Fraz Mirza are ready to announce their winners of 2015’s first CoinaPhoto photography competition, Beginnings.
We received so many great entries from all around the world; in fact it’s been our highest entered competition yet, with over 700 stunning photos submitted! It’s been fascinating seeing how each of you have interpreted the concept of Beginnings, with photos of beautiful newborn babies, flowers in bloom, fantasy weddings and just the open road capturing the essence of a new start.
It’s a pleasure to announce that the winner is ‘WB’ for this beautifully focussed shot capturing a newborn baby, ‘Precious New Beginning’s’. The subject, composition and subtle use of focus really epitomise the theme of this competition, so well done! The first prize of $500 worth of Amazon gift vouchers, to use towards some brand new photography equipment, will soon be on its way to you.
Congratulations to our first runner up Cak Paul PyZk for his up close photo entitled ‘Welcome To The World,’ winning $300 worth of Amazon gift vouchers. Not only did he amass 90 votes, but the judges were also particularly impressed by the use of colour in the photograph.
Last but by no means least we have chosen Eko Budi Purwanto’s stunning sea front pier photo ‘Dadaepo Sun’ as the winner of the third place prize of $200. A lovely shot!
As our ‘Beginning’s’ competition closes we’ve been reminded of the unbelievable photography that has been submitted throughout this past month. We would have loved to reward each and every one of you for your wonderful work but unfortunately with competitions a winner has to be crowned.

I wanna thank you to Mr Mirza, judges and voters. This is my first achievement in competition, so I can’t say anything about my feeling.
