Photo: Winter Seascape,
" This photo was taken in 2011 when I went to visit my mother, who lives in a small city in Liepaja, near the Baltic sea in Latvia. This particular day it was horribly windy and cold outside. However, we decided to go out together anyway to spend some family time together. We were with my sister and her husband and it turned out to be an amazing family adventure!”
"The curved lines and the texture of the ice give this picture volume and enhance the overall effect. The selected exposure conveys the depth of color of the sky without losing the reflection of it in the ice and water.- Anna
Honorable mentions have to go to:
Location: Interlaken, Switzerland
What might appear like a simple scene, is full of atmosphere. According to the rule of thirds, attention is focused on the human figure in front. At the same time, the perspective leads to disappearing in the distance, and falling snow makes this scene look magical - Anna
I like this picture for its lightness and fragility. The reflections create an illusion of infinity. The Image freezes a calm and peace – Anna
At CoinaPhoto we love a photo tagged with a story. Diana really shows her enthusiasm for photography behind the above image with the simple line: “I woke up, I got out, then I ran for my camera. This happened”.
