Who says it’s no longer the season to travel just because summer is almost over? Autumn is an enchanting season to capture photos when the world turns almost magical, while the air is just beginning to get crisp with the first few chills of the season. Autumn is the perfect time to visit Europe because the changes of seasons and colours are just preparing to set up a winter wonderland in the next few months. Find out Coinaphoto’s favourite 7 European destinations that every photographer should visit this Autumn.

1. Wicklow, Ireland

Autumn is the best time to visit this part of Ireland. Your hikes become absolutely majestic due to the crisp golden shades lingering in the scenery while the cosy pubs are lit up with fire to keep you warm, should you find yourself in need of a pint after taking some breathtaking landscape shots!

2. Cumbria, England

Autumn is possibly the best time to visit this part of Northern England as the hills are just beginning turn red and gold. This makes a picturesque hike trail for shooting some autumnal photos, while observing the lakes. A little insider’s tip – it’s the best time to spot the waterfalls as there are lesser crowds at this time of the year.

3. Bruges, Belgium

This medieval town of Belgium is probably one of the most underrated parts of Europe in Autumn! The ancient architecture begins to reflect the lights off the canals just as the day starts turning into night a bit earlier! Don’t forget, it’s almost a sin to leave Belgium without trying some of the world’s finest hot chocolate to keep you warm, while you are browsing outdoor markets or planning your next shot around them.

4. Dubrovnik, Croatia

Being conveniently located by the Adriatic Coast means the temperatures here are still not too chilly compared to the rest of  Europe. While admiring the imagery straight out of Game of Thrones, you can also head to the beach without being run over by summer time beach goers and take some sunny shots by the beach while you still can. Plus, it might be the best time to indulge in some drone photography while the scenic views are not too crowded.

5. Prague, Czech Republic

Prague is one of those European destinations that remain enchanting throughout the year. However, The City of a Thousand Spires offers you better panaromic views of the popular crimson rooftops while the crowds have subsided! The coppery shades in the nature compliment the red rooftops making it highly picturesque! Plus, when it has just started getting colder, it’s always a great idea to sip on craft beer in a city which is notorious for it.
