Gone are the days when Instagram was just an app you scrolled through on your phone to beat boredom. Instagram has now become a platform for all genres of photography showcasing travel, lifestyle, fashion or absolutely anything at all! We don’t know about you but we can’t get enough of jazzing up our Instagram profile even if it may not remotely resemble our favourite influencer’s newsfeed (but one can try!). Coinaphoto brings to you a list of locations in Dublin where you can take chic shots to induce Instagram envy! Have a browse through our list and if you manage to recreate some of the shots inspired from our blog, make sure to tag us on our Instagram account.

Anne’s Lane in Dublin 2 is fast becoming one of the most instagrammed spots in the Irish capital! With the colourful umbrellas lining up the top of the street, you can’t go wrong with taking a fun shot here, which is likely to grab your followers’ attention.

2 – Docklands

Varying from historic to modern architecture – this part of Dublin should be on every visitor’s list of places to see. A scenic river, modern glass panelled buildings bordering classic historic architecture make a swoon-worthy location for anyone’s instagram feed!

3 – Temple Bar

Cobbled and lively streets, colourful boutiques and bars buzzing with energy –  if these factors don’t make the perfect background for a brilliant photo, we don’t know what does!

4 – Trinity College Library

Trinity College Library by Alfonso Boranga

Holding fort as one of the most ancient libraries in Ireland and United Kingdom, Trinity College Library is a popular tourist spot thanks to fine timber work, enriched entablature and high domes. The library also boasts the 3 only remaining medieval Gaelic harps today.

5 – Molly Malone Statue at Suffolk Street

Molly Malone by Paddy Mc

The star of what some may call the unofficial Dublin song, the bronze Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street is seldom seen without a swarm of people posing next to her for a photo! Molly was known to be a rather attractive fish seller who frequented the streets of Dublin. If she is good enough for her statue to be erected in Dublin and for her to become a part of the city’s history, she’s good enough for us to shoot as our subject! Take a photo of famous statue for an instagram worthy photo that’s likely to impress your followers!
